Then it is packed. On ice, in a sealed EPS cooler that holds cold for up to 72 hours. Mombasa goes the same day by rider; everywhere else travels by express courier or bus.
Do these four checks yourself when it arrives. If any of them fails, send one photograph within 24 hours and we replace the item or refund it — we never ask you to send fish back. Read the guarantee.
Questions
Is this salmon from the Indian Ocean?
No. Salmon is a cold-water fish and does not live in these waters. Ours is imported, and we label it clearly so our traceability claim on everything else stays honest.
Why is it so much more expensive?
Because it is imported and cold-chained the whole way. If you want the same omega-3 for a sixth of the price, buy una — Indian mackerel — instead.
